Terms of Use

1. The Service

Neocut provides booking and business-management software for barbershops, including a calendar, client management, online booking, messaging and related features. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Trial, subscription & billing

• We may offer an introductory rate (for example, £10 per month for your first 3 months, then the plan's standard monthly price). Offer terms are shown at sign-up and may change for new customers.
• After any trial, the Service is provided on a subscription. Fees, billing frequency and what's included are shown before you subscribe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Payments are processed by Stripe.

4. Your data & your clients

You are responsible for the data you put into Neocut, including your clients' personal data. You confirm you have a lawful basis to store and message your clients, and that you will honour opt-out and data requests. You are the data controller for your client data; Neocut processes it on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Messaging & communications

The Service lets you send messages (SMS/email) to your clients. You must only message people who expect to hear from you and must comply with applicable marketing and privacy laws. You are responsible for the content of messages you send through the Service.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe others' rights;
• send spam, unlawful, or harmful content;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• use the Service to store data you are not permitted to hold.

7. Intellectual property

Neocut and its software, branding and content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active. You retain ownership of the data you upload.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (e.g. Supabase, Stripe, Voodoo SMS, Resend, Google, OpenAI). Their availability and terms are outside our control, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

9. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance or suspend the Service where reasonably necessary.

10. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue or data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Neocut against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms or applicable law (including in relation to client data and messaging).

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will handle your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless local law requires otherwise.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
